Underground bike path

When I started to think of a concept I already knew I didn't want bikes going over te square and have it be a short cut for bike traffic. So I quickly decided I would have this bike path underground. Harm then asked, why would they use that and not g oover the square? maybe make something that makes them want to use the undergound bike path. I thought about some things and thought it would be great to have a layer of water above. Riding under water and at night being lit by lights creating a wonderfull effect.

First sketch model

When building sketch models I am focusing on placement, what will go where and playing around with it. What looks and feels good. thinking about what placements make sense. for my first sketch model I started placing a hill and water.

Sketchmodels

The second model I built had more elements. How can I incorporate hills, grass, water and a path or floor. Now looking at where I could place certain things and how they would work in a specific spot. Always staying focussed on the bike path/ water. And the placement of surrounding elements. Really starting to think about the visitor and providing them with something to look at. One thing is seeing a bike ride under water lake a vague fish in a pond. making the water alive and something to look at.

Maybe a wooden platform with elevated locations to walk to would work for my hills? but how would that look and work? I tried it out

How will I make the water I need in my model? I tested using paint and adding a layer of hot glue.
